Our headquarters and manufacturing operations are situated in a state-of-the-art, 350,000-square-foot facility on the 140-acre campus of the Hispaniola Industrial Park and Free Trade Zone in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Our large-scale candle-making operations are equipped with the most advanced technologies and equipment, fully staffed to handle high-volume production efficiently and effectively.
Sales, Marketing, and Design Center in Charleston, South Carolina
The Velas Hispaniola U.S. offices, located in Charleston, SC, are headed by Rick Langley, Chief Sales Officer. They provide customer services for sales, design, marketing, product line development, and project management. The U.S. office also oversees a network of designers across the country who provide candle and packaging design services for clients.
Hispaniola Industrial Free Trade Zone in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Velas Hispaniola owns and operates within the Hispaniola Industrial Free Trade Zone Business Park in Santo Domingo. The park is also home to our associated company, CLC Dominicana Label Printing, which provides our labeling services. Future additions to the park will include a furniture maker, a corrugated products manufacturer, a wick supplier, and a personal care product manufacturer.

Velas Hispaniola owns and is located inside the Hispaniola Industrial Free Trade Zone Business Park, a 140-acre campus located in Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. The HIFZP is also home to CLC Dominicana, our label printing company, and future additions to the business park include: a corrugated products supplier, a wick supplier, a furniture manufacturing company, and a personal care products manufacturer.
Duty Free Products
Operating in a free trade zone under CAFTA-DR, there are no duties or tariffs imposed on any of our Velas Hispaniola candle products that are shipped from the Dominican Republic into the United States, the EU, and the Americas. This makes us one of the most advantageous near shore suppliers of candle goods to companies and retailers throughout the Americas.

The Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) is the first free trade agreement between the United States and a group of smaller developing economies that include the Dominican Republic to promote stronger trade and investment ties, prosperity, and stability between the US and the DR.
